New Mobility World @IAA Commercial Vehicles 2018Hanover, September 20-27, 2018

NMW is Heading to…SXSW!

By Editorial Team on March 2, 2018

We’re revving our engines and heading over to Austin soon for SXSW! The festival dedicates itself to helping creative people achieve their goals through combining film, music, and interactive conferences over the course of 10 days, and we’re looking forward to be in the midst of it al!

Future Mobility Lunch
Co-hosted with our friends at moovel, we’re looking to the future of transportation: What does the future of mobility look like? Will we be setting off to Mars, getting flown to work by drones, or still clamoring in an outdated underground?

Startups, investors, and corporates will be exploring the best of what mobility has to offer, as Berlin meets international players and discusses where we’re heading.

Topics up for discussion include:
• Climate change, air quality, smart cities, new work, privacy and safety
• AI, assistance & automation, UI/UX, connectivity & telematics, IoT, advanced materials, new powertrains & new fuels, smart cities, infrastructure, mobility services, transport services, logistics & last mile services (incl. drones), and data security
• The ethics of automation and AI

Join us for a quick bite and see what the different players in the mobility scene have to say!

K.I.T.T. is Real
Our director Dirk O. Evenson will be hosting a panel on the role of Voice Car Assistants at the German Haus on March 10, at 5:30 PM. As part of the discussion of smart cities and mobility, Dirk will be addressing the possibilities of our own creativity to make what seems like science fiction today into the reality of tomorrow. Joined by Daniel Mieves (German Autolabs), Stuti Pandey (Moia), Helmut Scherer (Futurice), and Marcel Thiemann (Xapix), the discussion will look beyond Voice Car Assistants and Automated Driving to what technologies might impact the way we move around in future?

Meet us
The festival is unparalleled in combining discovery, networking, and inspiration, and we’re excited to meet up with others looking to discover and debate what the future of mobility might bring. Will you be at SXSW, too? Let’s meet up! Send us an email here and we can connect over a coffee!
