The IAA Conference Beyond Mobility is the leading forum for the future of mobility. From September 11–15, 2019, you will be able to meet the companies that are in the driver’s seat of what the future of mobility will bring.
What is the IAA Conference? For 2019 we have created this format as the leading platform for the creators, thinkers, decision makers and stakeholders of future mobility. The IAA Conference builds on the success of the NMW FORUM and previous IAA expert events with the aim of bringing together the greatest minds from all over the world and ranging from the industry to academia, and from
The conference tackles the megatrends of tomorrow and asks the question of how we are going beyond mobility? Topics of discussion include automation and connectivity, sustainable power and propulsion, smart city solutions and MaaS, all asking how we will drive our way to a more sustainable, inclusive and convenient mobility.
Because access to mobility also influences how we live, work and interact, the IAA Conference’s scope reaches significantly beyond mobility. We invite you to debate these and more topics to come in panels, develop joint solutions in workshops, and present innovations to fellow trailblazers, unconventional minds, and people who are simply keen to expand their knowledge.

We are looking for an inspiring, cross-sectoral and diverse group of speakers, sharing new and exciting ideas, visions or inventions our attendees have not yet heard of or read about or a unique insight, a compelling new argument that challenges common beliefs or perspectives.
Proposals for interactive formats have a significantly higher chance to get selected than frontal ones. We reserve the right to offer participation in a different format than initially proposed. We are not looking for company or product presentations.
The conference language from Wednesday to Friday is English. There will be no interpreters on-site. You may also hold your presentation in German, in case you feel uncomfortable with English.
Please be advised: Presentations in German draw smaller audiences.
Please make sure to always provide your presentation slides in English only, even if your oral presentation is in German. The conference languages for
