First up is The Future of Public Transport in and between Cities from 10.00-11.00, where different speakers will be looking into how to make logistics data work for consumers and businesses. The suggested methods for doing this include open transport platforms, the digitalisation of the freight forwarding business and an integration of on-demand into mass-transit solutions.
This is followed by The Future of Urban Logistics from 11.00-12.15. Speakers from Zalando, MAN Truck & Bus, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Frost & Sullivan, and DVV Media Group will be looking into how the future of urban logistics will be pushed by smart on-demand transport solutions, automated delivery, integrated drive systems and a TCO-optimized usage of modular zero-emission vehicles. The talk is hosted by the NMW’s Knowledge Partner McKinsey.
The fun continues after lunch at 13.15-14.15, with The Future of Network- and Platform Providers. Questions range from “Tsunami or Surfer’s Paradise? Surviving in a disrupted (Auto) World ” to “Digitizing Freight Forwarding – How will it affect your Business? “, with speakers looking at how to make logistics data work for consumers and businesses through open transport platforms, the digitalization of the freight forwarding business and an integration of on-demand into mass-transit solutions.
Join Last Mile Logistics – Reinvented at 14.30-15.30 in order to gain insights into how to benefit from open platforms for the last mile, create more sustainable TCO optimized last-mile delivery experiences and learn how to close the gap to fully driverless delivery applications.
The last item on the agenda for Monday at 15.45 is Insights into Urban Logistics, where a host of experts that have a municipal administration, craftsman or OEM background, will provide insights into concrete, collaborative projects and different perspectives on urban logistics.
