The mobility startup door2door has been appointed by the World Economic Forum (WEF) to join the Center For the Fourth Industrial Revolution. door2door is the first European startup to join the global hub. The Berlin-based startup will collaborate on improving mass transit for cities worldwide.

Based in San Francisco, this center is a global hub of expertise, knowledge-sharing and collaboration. Appointing door2door signs WEF’s intention to improve existing public transport network and infrastructure. The startup provides a mobility platform to support cities in their digital transformation. The platform enables public transport companies to introduce and operate their own on-demand rideshare shuttles and thus tackle car congestion and pollution.

Uber’s Former Head of Data Science Joins door2door Advisory Board
To strengthen the company’s presence internationally, door2door expands its board and welcomes Kevin Novak, Uber’s former Head of Data Science as Senior Advisor. Kevin played in key role in the development of Uber’s Dynamic Pricing, UberPOOL algorithm but also in the creation of the intelligent freight and logistics marketplace Uber Freight.
