HELLA and ZF have signed a strategic partnership to develop front camera systems, imaging and radar sensor technology. The first joint development project in camera technology is expected to be launched in 2020.
In order to build secure cars with obtain the highest Euro NCAP safety ratings, those cars will require the support of camera-supported assistance functions. To answer the growing demand for front cameras, both companies will offer a joint product that combines ZF expertise in hardware and camera functions and HELLA’s software and development knowledge.
